Beaches and More Beaches!
So if your considering Florida as a place to vacation or live you really must be “ok” with some sand. Yes, we have plenty of sand and the water to go with it. Our beaches are breathtaking and you will find its kind of hard to decide which one you want to go to once you have been here for a while. We don’t have just one you know, we have dozens of beaches along the Treasure Coast. Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties have a wealth of sandy beaches where you can enjoy the Florida sunshine, time with your family and take in those outstanding views.
So, the first thing you have to decide is if you like seclusion or if you might like a little company? We have public beaches where you will find a healthy number of sunbathers and some where you will be the only sole around. For instance, the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge is pretty remote however offers some of the best sea turtle watching around.
Our beaches are relaxed and there are no parking meters. You will have a challenge finding a place to park on a really good beach day however so consider going early. There are so many beaches here its impossible for me to go over each one…and why reinvent the wheel? I have attached links in this blog post to each of the community sites where you will find specific details on each one.
I would say most people choose a beach that’s easy to get to based upon where they live within the county. Finding your favorite beach is a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We should all spend more time at the beach, as it provides for a stress reliever and a great tan!
