Mulligan’s Jensen Beach Florida

Well someone had to do it, you know, check out another great place here on the Treasure Coast to brag about. So, while in between appointments I dropped by the newly renovated Mulligan’s to see what all the fuss was about. Mulligan’s is located right along the river’s edge in downtown Jensen Beach. This casual open air dining establishment recently added a second floor with both general dining and a bar.  As you can imagine the view improves greatly on the second floor, but I found, so does the wind.

And it was certainly a breezy day so I decided to dine at the downstairs bar.  I usually like to dine at the side walk tables to people watch, but today decided to sit a talk to the bar tender for a change. Both floors of Mulligan’s have been renovated and look great. I did not see any menu changes, at least that I could notice.

I ordered the Caesar salad and sat back to enjoy the breeze while I waited for my ordered to be prepared. The wind was really ripping on the day of my visit, so I could see where heavy winds could be a deterrent to dining on the second floor. Your food would fly off your plate!

If you’re not familiar with downtown Jensen Beach it has ample dining options and there are many different cuisines and atmospheres to choose from. What I like most is the open-air dining venues. I can never get enough of the outdoors.

Another nice thing about Jensen is that many neighborhoods are close by to the downtown area,  so you can get a quick bite without any long drive. If you reside in Jensen Beach you can be downtown in 5 to 10 minutes from just about any of the local neighborhoods. How’s that for convenient!

Overall Mulligan’s is a nice casual dining experience with that tropical Florida feel. You can enjoy a wonderful tropical cocktails and great food. I had to skip the cocktail due to work.
