So, your in the market for a home and you’re considering super sunny Florida. Here in the Treasure Coast we have many choices and lots of great neighborhoods. So of course, choosing can be challenging.
If you’re considering south Florida, specifically the Treasure Coast, then maybe you’re considering Jensen Beach. And why wouldn’t you, Jensen Beach is a spectacular place to live. Located right along the Indian River here in beautiful Martin County.
Jensen Beach has many great neighborhoods and while I can’t cover them all, today I’m going to talk a little about the Jensen Beach Country Club. This lovely gated community is located right in the heart of Jensen Beach and if you love nature you will love this community. Over half of the acreage is designated towards a preserve and the golf course, so you will see a wide variety of wildlife right from your backyard.
The neighborhood also has an ample selection of home styles for you to choose from. You have single family homes ranging from large estates to smaller patio homes. You also have a nice selection of villas which are spread throughout the community. Many people like lower maintenance on a home but are not quite ready for condo life, so the villa’s are an excellent choice. Owning a villa does provide for a garage to store all of the “stuff” you can’t manage to part with.
While this is a golf community, homes owners are not required to purchase a golf membership or any membership for that matter. The Club , Eagle Marsh is a semi- private club and open to residents and non-residents of JBCC.
The club, Eagle Marsh is a beautiful 18 hole course designed by Tommy Zazio and it does not disapoint. The golf course has a solid reputation for overall conditioning and unparalleled greens. Eagle Marsh Golf Club is very close to Hutchinson Island and the beaches making it the perfect choice whether you’re a local or here on vacation. The newly renovated clubhouse at Eagle Marsh houses numerous amenities, including a Pro Shop. Whether you’re looking for the latest golf attire and equipment, ice cold drinks for your cooler, or you just need your clubs re-gripped, the Pro Shop can equip you with everything necessary for you to enjoy a great round of golf.
Afterwards you can stop by the Links Grillroom to try out some great food and take advantage of the all-day happy hour. Yes, I did say “all day” happy hour. And here’s some good news for you. You don’t have to be a golf member to enjoy the Grillroom. That’s right, if you live in JBCC you can dine and enjoy the daily happy hour with your friends and family 12 months out of the year, how’s that for a perk! You can live the country club life without evening buying the golf membership.
Jensen Beach Country Club also has two additional clubhouses outfitted with a pools, recreational areas and tennis courts. So, you could head over to the Grillroom for drinks after tennis if you’re thirsty too.
If you are looking for a beautiful place to live with ample amenities, then you should consider the Jensen Beach Country Club.
