Jensen Beach Florida is located right along the Indian River in Martin County and according to the united states census bureau the town of Jensen Beach has a total of 8.1 square miles. This beautiful little town offers a tropical vibe with beautiful neighborhoods and a lovely downtown area. Jensen Beach is very close to the Atlantic Ocean, so if you are a beach goer, you will certainly enjoy the convenience of this quaint little town. There is a wide variety of home choices in Jensen Beach which include single family homes, condos and villas. All of the neighborhoods in Jensen Beach are close to the downtown area and convenient to shopping.
As I mentioned, downtown Jensen Beach has a tropical eclectic atmosphere. But what’s great about downtown is that it’s loaded with a wide variety of unique dining venues and shopping. The shops in Jensen Beach are special. There is nothing canned about the downtown area, the shops are locally owned and have unique merchandise. And all the local business owners take pride in delivering exceptional service and a quality goods. If you are looking for a special piece of art or home décor you should take a stroll down the streets of Jensen Beach.
Every Thursday evening downtown Jensen Beach has a little street party called Jammin Jensen. Local shop owners bring their goods to the street and there are many other venders who join in on the fun bringing arts & crafts to sell. Many of the restaurants run dining specials on Thursday nights and there is also live entertainment at some of the dining venues. The shop owner on Maple street host “Music on Maple” every other Thursday in conjunction with the Jammin Jensen events adding even more fun. Jammin Jensen is a perfect way to spend an evening here in Florida, just bring a lawn chair, enjoy the salt air, tasty food and great music.
If you love a laid back and eclectic atmosphere, then downtown Jensen Beach will not disappoint and it’s one of my favorite places when I am not working.
