The Many Faces of Stuart Florida
Stuart Florida
So today, I’m talking to you about Stuart. When you think of Stuart many people don’t realize that there are several sections or area’s to Stuart. You have downtown Stuart where you have both mixed-use buildings, shops, restaurants and residential neighbors, kind of the heart of Stuart. But you also have several other neighborhoods within the city of Stuart’s postal codes like Port Salerno, Golden Gate and North River Shores. Each of these neighborhoods offer their own unique traits and styles of homes.
For instance, south Stuart, along US1 this area has a variety of not only traditional housing developments but gated communities too. Many offer golf, tennis and a maintenance free lifestyles so you can relax instead of mowing your lawn. Being on the south end of the county also makes commuting to the airport a breeze. You can reach the airport in 35 to 40 minutes.
The Port Salerno area is more relaxed, has fewer gated communities and caters to the boating community. If you like fishing and boating this is a great place to reside. Being located right in the heart of the Manatee Pocket also makes life easy, because the pocket has more than just housing to offer you. This area of Port Salerno is filled with restaurants and marinas, so you don’t have to travel far for food, fun and boating.
And, catering to the home owner who prefers a more relaxed lifestyle, is the North River Shore area. These home sites feature larger lots and most offer the ability for you to store an RV or boat right at the house. Being in North River Shores mean you get to have your cake and eat it too! “Why you say”? Because you’re close to downtown Stuart, the mall and a short drive to the boat ramps, unless of course you own a home directly on the water, in which case you’ll be walking out your back door to take a boat ride.
What I like most about helping people move to the Treasure Coast is the fact that we have a wide variety of housing options. We have something for everyone and some of the best values you can find in south Florida. Whether you’re looking for a condo, town home or single family house there are many neighborhoods for you to consider.
In addition to the many housing options we have lots of recreation for you. If you’re an active person, you can enjoy outdoor activities 12 months out of the year. This is a big boating community and that’s because we have so much water, but you don’t have to own a boat to enjoy our beaches and rivers. Many people like to paddle board, kayak or just lay at the beach soaking up the sun.
And if you don’t like sand, heck, just head out to one of the many great parks we have here in Martin County. You can ride your bike, walk your dog, have a picnic, read, sleep, your choices are endless.
There is much more than meets the eye when it comes to Stuart and it’s definitely an area you want to explore. You can view all of our beautiful homes and neighborhoods here.
